Hope in 'We the People'

Hope in 'We the People'

We the People is a nonpartisan campaign dedicated to igniting a national dialogue about American identity and values through public art and story sharing.

Shepard Fairey was the artist who created the famous Barack Obama 'Hope' drawing in 2008.  Shepard has gathered with other like minded artists to create the 'We the People' campaign, which ran a widely successful Kickstarter campaign that will enable signs and banners to flood the Women's March in Washington DC in addition to running full-page newspaper advertisements in the Washington Post on Inauguration Day.  Ironically, these artists will show the world that there is indeed still hope!

  • Download a poster for free to hang on your wall or show at the Women's March!
  • Write a postcard to the President about what 'We the People' means to you and We the People will mail it for you!
  •  Are you an illustrator, photographer or artist?  Apply for a grant by February 15th to continue making We the People artwork!
