The company was started by Sarah Chambers, out of Salt Lake City, UT.  Sarah was a devoted yogi and she noticed that students at the yoga studio where using makeshift straps in which to carry their mats.  Sarah decided to make a proper yoga mat holder of her own and when she did, other yogis immediately asked her to make one for them as well.  Hugger Mugger was born.  Hugger Mugger expanded into creating mats, blocks, bags, bolsters and sandbags.  Hugger Mugger is a bit sticky so it’s user does not slide and is meant to be used under a yoga towel. Choose between three different lengths and six various colors.

Ugh..never thought about all the off-gasing my yoga mat makes. making sure mine is chemical free. SEems like most yoga mats are totally not recyclable, which is terrible

I have a Jade mat and love it!
If it wears out I definitely would buy another because it’s high quality, comfortable, non-toxic and made in USA.

Eek good to know….who knows where my mat came from. Probalbly China and it’s full of toxins. Not what I want during a workout!
